Seva Day is observed every year on October 1st at the Sri Kumaran Group of Institutions to commemorate the death anniversary of our Former Director, Smt. Meenakshi Balakrishnan, who was fondly addressed as 'Mother'. This day is marked by acts of service to honor her legacy and it highlights the importance of giving back to society. We at Sri Kumaran Group of Institutions believe that service to others is important and that it can teach empathy, gratitude, and co-operation to our Children. 

In SKCH PU College, a Prayer Meet is held, where teachers chant bhajanas and share memorable experinces they have had with Mother. On this day a few student representatives serve food to the support staff at MLS campus.

Sri Kumaran Group of Institutions hopes to carry on Mother's legacy and keep her ideologies alive.
