This year, India will be celebrating its 77th Independence Day on 15th August 2023, marking 76 years of freedom. The theme for this year's celebration is "Nation First, Always First" as a part of the wider "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav". 
77 years ago, on the 15th of August,1947 India achieved its freedom from the British rule . This was the day when years of efforts, non-violence and other movements by our National Freedom Fighters yielded fruits and thus made India an Independent Country. 
This is the day, we pay tribute to all those great men out there who have made their contrubitions in making India an Independent Country and thus we celecbrate our 77th Independace Day which is observed with great enthusiasm all over the country.
